Lightbulb Map Markers in Towns

I was recently reading a thread about updating the npc markers such as mission icons etc, and it got me to thinking in towns, finding things in new areas can sometimes get confusing, finding a crafter, a collector, merch or storage, so i propose this idea:

NPC Map Markers in towns/outposts on the minimap (u map)

we already have these to a point in explorable areas (shrines and collectors)

but what would the markers be you ask?

well, i propose this

Storage - small xunlai box

traders:
*Merchant - a gold coin
*Dye Trader - glass vial
*Rune Trader - small rune
*Scroll Trader - scroll
*Material Trader - piece of cloth

crafters:
* Armor Crafter - Cuirass
* Hero Armor Crafters - Cuirass with H overlayed
* Festival Hat Maker - coloured hat of some sort
* Weaponsmiths - sword and shield emblem (like the mission completion icon)

Henchmen - 1 icon for the general area (maybe a head of some sort)

Trainers and reward NPCs:
*Skill Trainer - green orb
*Hero Skill Trainer - green orb with H overlay
*Profession trainers - (suggestion welcome)
*Priests of Balthazar - the Balthazar emblem

Guild Registrar and emblemer - Celestial Sigil image (suggest these as the same as they are usually so close together)

as with the explorable area makers, i think when the mouse hovers over them, the name of the NPC should appear, encase someone doesn't know what the markers mean.

i think they would be relatively small as not to obstruct the map in general.

and response in welcome, feel free to call this pointless and useless if you want, im tired and board and this seems like a good idea

I have no problem using the map accessed via pressing 'U', but this wouldn't hurt anything either.

Kaineng Center is massive. Took several days to find out where everything is... this saves new players quite a while searching through new towns.

Would be pretty convenient, though exploring is fun too...

As long as you put an icon next to the [x] icon in the mission map or an option in the General tab, so you can hide them, this would be a really neat feature.

Ah! And this would greatly combine with one of my suggestions, this one:

Mithran thats where i got the idea :P, was reading your thread and it just popped into my head.

i like the idea of being able to hide them (an options toggle maybe) for people who know the layout of all the towns, but maybe have it on by default for new players, to help them find what they need.
